New Trading Symbol will be GSPN. S-1 Filing was on 3/29/99 Expected Pricing Date is June, 1999 Lead Underwriter is Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. You may follow up on this by linking to ipo.com and doing a search on GlobeSpan. I believe that they produce chips for Paradyne; another old time DSL, Modem, and Statistical Multiplexer maker (formerly owned by AT&T and Lucent)--- which also intends to go public with the symbol PDYN .
