You don't post good numbers on a Friday or before a holiday. I hope I don't need to explain.

>>Burying them today..Why? Good numbers are good regardless of when posted...

true...however, by definition...viz a viz a mathematical identity...good news is simply released on Monday or Tuesday morning [no exceptions...none] and bad news is issued on Friday after the closing bell...the exception would be companies with solid management release bad news as early as possible i.e. as close to the end of the preceding/relevent quarter...not, for example, releasing q4 'xx numbers in q2 xx+1 of the following fiscal year...generally reserved for the pinkest of the pink sheet penny stocks...or put another way CNBC has indicated all week that next week is the beginning of earnings release week for companies whose fiscal quarter ended March 31...not December 31st...a company either understands the ways of 'The Street' and shareholder value maximization or it doesn't...hopefully the management of NewKidCo LLC is particularly adept at this or they will simply be incurring irreversible and priceless lost opportunity costs/shareholder value destruction.
