Thanks Mike. Continuing on the issue of ROE, I have a Sept. '96 Value Line that has the screen for highest percentage earned on capital. It has returned to comm. eq. and ave. return of capital, which I assume are somewhat close to ROE. What, if anything, can we learn from some of the following examples: Georgia Gulf: p/e 14; returned to com.eq. 368%; av. return of cap.39% UST: 12 38% 75% Cisco 32 35 35 Hong Kong Tel 15 14 43 Cedar Fair 10 9 31
