I've said it before and I'll say it again...

PGP sucks. Now if TNT2 is AGP-only this means that all those chip manufacturers that use agp texturing are probably a no-go. This is probably why Banshee was the first trial and Voodoo3 was going to be the first implementation. The TNT prototype that they are using is probably the PCI version.

Oddly enough...I think almost every next-gen chip will be using AGP texturing making 3dfx one of the only PGP viable candidates.
