Looks like they're simply gauging interest, to me. Nobody's taking any money, yet. I'm sure the appropriate details will become available as it gets closer to 'transaction stages' and anybody can back out if they're uncomfortable.

What's your Beef, Chicken?

Tastes Like Chicken,

You post to me as if I am an employee of this company. I'm not an employee of webnode.com. I heard some rumors about this deal several days ago. I waited and signed up for nodes and expressed my interest in shares today! The person you should ask these thing of, Jim seems to be off for the weekend.

You do bring up several valid points. I'm going to ask Jim myself at the earliest possible moment. I also hope that the wording complies fully with all regulatory procedures. I'd hate to see a sweet deal like this screwed up just because someone forgot to dot the proper ‘i's and cross the proper ‘t's.

Kevin

Tastes Like Chicken and CatLady: If this is _not_ just an "April Fools" joke, then this looks like just the kind of thing the SEC is interested in having reported to them. Here is a pointer to a page at their web site:

sec.gov

Complaints can also be sent to them via e-mail. All relevant information, including URLSs cited in one's complaint, should be given. Here's the address for anyone who smells a rat with this:

enforcement@sec.gov

Although the webnode.com site does not require one to give credit card or social security numbers, to give even one's name, postal and e-mail address, and phone number is **not** a good idea.

I do not have time to deal with this 'thing' but the whole thing smells to me. Just take a look at the last paragraph of the posting that started this thread, the paragraph that gives information on the supposed company behind this node thing. Does this sound believable?

Lynn

What gives? Sometimes I think of trying a few...as long as I don't come up with cash, I don't waste anything. See my other post about the 2nd thought. I can take 1 grand or 2 from my earlier profits and buy nodes and shares?

It's clear that I can't prove anything. None of the names sound familiar to me, a swiss co. is not known under the name...what did I know about fingerhut or zd or ktel?
The only thing which may hold is the business model. If ....
