Carnegie International Files for Extension
on Form 10-KSB

BALTIMORE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 1, 1999--Carnegie International
Corporation (OTC BB: CAGI - news) said today it has filed with the Securities
and Exchange Commission for an extension of the filing of its annual report of
Form 10-KSB, which was due March 31, 1999.

Carnegie President and CEO Lowell Farkas said the extension request was not
due to any concern with the health of Carnegie, but was requested while the
company was responding to SEC comments attributable to the company's Form 10-SB/A filed on February 12,
1999. He said that Carnegie will file its annual report within the 15-day extension period.

Farkas said he issued this statement because of concerns about the filing delay from stockholders expressed
in many phone calls and e-mails.

He also announced that Carnegie is pursuing a listing on the American Stock Exchange.

Phil, I've been in CAGI since last April when it was 45 cents. I would not get nervous about this company. I've talked to Lowell on a number of occasions and he is right on. The company has a great business plan. They are executing. They are growing and they are focused. This stock will continue to be a big winner IMO. If you look where they have come from, it is amazing for a BB stock. I invested $10,000 into this company and expect to retire very nicely on it.
