<<Except the Dow actually went up last year . There aren't many funds selling the Canadian 300/200 index .>>

So in other words when people refer to the tse being down, its a joke right? also being up?

doesnt matter in the least, right?

Let me try that strategy with the DOW, or the NAZ.

you guys kill me.

Dagan, I'm now referring to you as the voice of reason. Keep up the good work.

>>Pricelines got dozens of patents BII one. Many can compete with minor changes , patent news broke last summer, this stock at $1.50 didn't do anything then or now for price.

"Most Canadian funds already have BII . Nobody buys Canadian index funds"

"there aren't many funds selling the Canadian 300/200 index."

If they already have them, but dont follow the 200/300, then all this can do is increase their market.

Last summers patent news was about the filing, not the approval.. big difference...

What difference does it make if the stock didn't do anything for the price... If you compare it to ANY OTHER INTERNET STOCK show me one thats has DONE MORE than BID.com AND HOW..
Otherwise, you just sound like a pi$$ed off shorter...
Thanx for the interaction,
MU

Doug,

Priceline may have dozens of patents, but not the most important ones. There are only two types of auctions, declining and ascending. Bid.Com has the patent on one of those.

EDIT: I have two responses to your comment that the price didn't rise based on the patent news last summer:
1) perhaps Canadians don't appreciate it as much as Americans might; and
2) immediate price wouldn't reflect it at the time the patent news broke because the online auction sector hadn't yet boomed.

Denise.
