Evening C. I just got back from my son's hockey game a short while ago. Great game. They won, and they all played well! I am still blown away by how well 11 and 12 year olds can play that game. Well, I tell you that it sure was nice to come back to that TSE 300 news release. I am not sure if I have mentioned this before, but I belong to an investment club. We just started it about two months ago. At the first meeting, everyone had a turn telling the rest of the group why they were interested in joining this club. The vast majority of the members said that they were pretty upset (some used the word disgusted) with the performance of the mutual funds that they were in. They wanted to join the club to see if we could get better returns. When you look at Waldo's Waldodex chart where it shows that Bid.Com has returned a staggering 1340% return over the past 100 days, it does not take a rocket scientist to realize that many of the under performing funds will be lining up like MU's dog in heat to get a piece of the action. These managers will smell the huge run up that the upcoming Nasdaq listing will give them, and they will finally be able to tell to their investors that they finally are now able to grab a piece of the hot action that the Internet provides. Yesterday I called to see the rate of return on my two children's RESP accounts that I have set up for them. I have this money in Altamira's new Ebusiness fund. Well, as of yesterday, this fund which is the first and only Mutual fund in Canada that specializes in Internet, Ecommerce, and Ebusiness companies told me that they have a 45% YTD return. This was from Jan. 1st 1999, to now! Now no one, I repeat, no one can ever convince me that many of the other mutual fund managers who are looking at their dismal returns YTD, won't want to get a piece of this action. This is BIG news! Don't let anyone try to convince you otherwise! It's big, and it's about to get much, much bigger! All and all, I would say it was a pretty good day! Night folks! Crazy Canuk
