I was qualified for platinum service last quarter, but I think this quarter I am just at the basic power level. According to the power ETrade page, the platinum level gets you an alert as soon as a new offering becomes available. I am going to have to watch this closely now to see if this is really how it works. I did get an account alert today about Raven which doesn't jive with the service level description. BTW: I just looked at the alert feature a bit more. I found that I could customize the alert delivery to send email. Even though there may be a prop delay through the mail, this is probably better than polling the web page for a new IPO listing. Now, if they just would get the intraday balances working...
