Christopher and Shtirlitz Point of my post was to point out that there is no way to launch ground troops into Serbia -- I guess I did forget Paratroopers -- boy would that be a mess. Greece through Thesaloniki -- OUT Greeks would never allow it and someone has posted that fact here. From Germany? Really bad style -- but that hasn't stopped us yet. Still its really far from Kosovo too and you have to cut through Bosnia et al -- NOT GOOD --- Hungary -- yes far from Kososvo -- but close to Belgrade -- try to end the war by chopping the head off the opponent. I am not advocating this -- I have thought I made it clear in earlier posts that I think ground forces in Serbia is insanity. Then again I think the bombing is insane too. Which gets us back to -- if they are stupid enough to do this -- what makes you think they aren't stupid enough to do it from Hungary? <g> I still can't believe no one likes my bombing Tito's palace idea -- we turned Kadafi into a cross-dresser -- lot more historic then Kadafi's place though. The one thing I can tell you is from day one Clinton, Holbrooke and the gang have underestimated Milosevic -- and Milosevic has out manuvered them every step of the way -- it will be interesting to see if stepped up bombing will change that (doubt it). My guess is right about now Clinton is looking at a list the Serbs sent him "Mr. President we want to assure you your three men are safe and we will be holding them in one of the below listed 150 targets -- you get to guess which three" Sincerely Slobadan
