This would indicate some of the shipments are in volume; or, as I am positive that the iNTELabees are more than willing to point out, none of oems are buying them (in my mind, at least, not a likely possibility). Also Toshiba and Compaq are now slated to introduce the K6-2-380 (I am not sure whether Toshiba has announced yet.) into what has been until very recently an exclusive domain of iNTEL for well over a decade: the business end premium market.

Also, and I consider this to be the most significant development of all, there is a rumor inside of AMD, as yet not publicly confirmed but privately acknowledged both by the Board of Directors and Atiq Raza and acquiesced by Jerry himself, that AMD has hired three unemployed professional football linebackers, whose sole responsibility will be to keep a watchful eye on Jerry; and if he appears to be making any attempt whatsoever to make any public statements, even with full and appropriate disclaimers, he is to be intercepted forcibly restrained and dragged into the back of whatever building he is in or near and given a severe finger wagging tongue lashing.

Regards,

DARBES
