Yougang, Without that heroic decision by then Intel management to give up DRAM and to
concentrate on CPU, there would not be the 100:1 ratio today

Without Red Auerbach's brilliant decision to lock up the rights to draft Larry Bird after his junior year at Indiana State, the Celtics would not have won three more NBA titles. If the Yankees hadn't traded for Babe Ruth after the 1918 season, the Yankees would be short a few World Series championships. Point is, winners find the way, losers don't.

Even if John chambers or Mike Dell was runnng AMD for all these years, Intel
would still do everything possible to minimize and deny AMD's profits -- name
them: court battles to price cuts.

Uh oh, there they are, the if_AMD words, even though they are separated a bit. IF_AMD, becoming a mantra.
