I'm sure all my neighbors thought I was loony, hand-washing the car in the driveway this afternoon (April 2). The weather was sunny, about 8 degrees C (slightly over 40 degrees F) with occasional wind gusts. Most of the snow has melted from the front yard, I brought the garden hose out of storage, and spring fever has firmly set in! At least all that winter crud is off my car, the high-pressure wash always seems to leave some of it behind. Now that the car is clean again, I can put my summer wheels and tires back on! Real winter tires are the only way to go in the ice and snow....
