They are spinning it here in Silicon Valley also. I have overheard the 4.2% jobless rate as bullish since it will keep Fed from raising rates. I am going to choke myself. How stupid, dumb, asinine all these people can be? If the expected number was supposed to be 4.4% and came in at 4.2% then there is a sharp labor tightening. How is this good for the interest rates staying low?

Is there such a thing as negative economic news or was it eliminated together with reasoning?
