Bdog,

This is getting hilarious,

First I work at the post office, then I write the "Inside Wall Street" column for BW. What next? Sheesh...at least SOF wasn't mentioned in BW. Did you take a look at KERA again yet? (Maybe you'll be able to read all about it in BW >>gg<<)
Right now I'm in CLNTF due to the hyperaccumulation flag and takeover speculation. And I'm in NPCI for the monster cup with handle.
Oh, right...guess what? MTON was discussed in Individual Investor magazine's last issue. Yikes...maybe I work for them. Uh oh...another one, ACRT was one of II's "Magic 25" last year. I was in and out of that one a bunch just before that happened. Hmmmm, maybe I do work for II. Won't Jonathon Steinberg be surprised when he finds out. Seems he would owe me some back pay.
Actually I work for the PO so you don't want to go around dissing my gruntle.

For anyone that really needs whatever stocks they buy to immediately take off...see a gambling counselor. What I do and what I have always done is use TA and charting for entry into short term position trades. As I have stated many times, short term, as I consider it, is up to 3 months. Instock thinks short term has meant 25 mins. here for some reason. I'd say he needs that counselor (Osci's meds don't seem to be helping at all). In fact, the TWO stocks I actually did suggest to Instock when this all started were KKRE (which went on to double) and NETM (which actually did pop immediately just the way he likes). Evidence that he's lost it is that he MISSED THEM BOTH!!! LOL!!! What a fool.
And as per HNV, I posted here that I bought it at 2 5/16 in mid-March. It went to briefly top 3 and hung around for 2 days for anyone to easily sell in the 2 3/4 to 2 7/8 area. Not huge but a profit and NOT a gamble. Next time Instock comes by give him a link to an online gambling site.

As per paying attention to what the thread does as a place for cooperation and real contribution...all I can say is ESPI.
WAVX has gotten a lot of airtime.
CMNT has been a great one for jumps.
ASTN has been mentioned relatively frequently for about a year now and rarely disappoints.
I'd like to see SNRS get its technicals back in shape soon...I like that one too.

Keep those scan results and favorite stocks coming. The people that understand the thread and the purpose of the REAL contributors truly appreciate everyone's work just as we truly appreciate each others.

Bdog,

VooLabs 3D Conic Fan calc's the hyperbolic wheel within a wheel but BW isn't a licensed user of the V3CF's Z axis.

Users of Gann's XY quadratic model have attempted the octant with mutant n/harmonics but few persist and I assure you the lab has not been compromised.

bdog: < " osci wants his meds back....>g< " > Maybe the coffee has not kicked in yet, but I don't get it. Meds?

Doug/Business Week - " Would this not be evidence of excellent technical skills? "
Could mean that.. Could mean someone at BW does TA too and sometimes there is a match.

One thing to remember though, most BW picks Shoot up in price, drop about as quick, and long term rarely do all that well.
That's not a dig at Doug or his TA. I look at it more as BW ablity to pick dog stocks. Great to daytrades, but thats about it...

Just always found it interesting that from time to time there is a match....Just wish they were always shortable stocks...

I have never put down Doug's technical skills, it's just he does ALOT better ( IMO ) when not coimng up with his own picks, but rather doing TA on stocks that have passed other tests first.

One thing that I beleive would work great is:
Put togather a list of stocks in Hot and Cold sectors. Maybe a list from Sectors on the rise and on the fall. That why you have the beginnings of Short and Long picks.
Look at the fundies on each stock, there by throwing some out and keeping other.
From the remaining list of stocks, do TA on them.
Also, instead of having MANY stock pics, have just a few at a time.
Work the stocks... like everyone did with HNV. Several people were posting information about the stock and that keeps people interested.
Can't expect a price move if no one is interested in a stock. Have to have people interested!, otherwise the stock will probably become a Short Sell.

Heading for the second cup..
