I'm just naturally upbeat.

I live with it, I enjoy it. I know for most
of the posters (and especially lurkers) I may
come across as a bit hyper. Oh well. I guess
making successful investments excites me. (easily
excited huh?) <gg>

To everyone out there, I'd just like to say that
there is always at least two sides to every story.
I can rant and rave right now about several things
that either happened or were rumored to have happened.
A lot of the information has never been posted on SI. But I
see that it would do no good. Even If I did, it wouldn't
change the facts about where MDMI stands now.

From patiently waiting and buying stock at reasonable
levels, I have increased my position of MDMI. Of course
the money has come from somewhere. If you are already
wealthy, investing in penny stocks may just be a hobby.
But for me I plan to increase my wealth from it. It's
not my main business, but I invest and trade just like
it was my main way of support.
IMO you have to position yourself. Then, when everyone
else "finds" the "gem" penny stock you have been accumulating,
you receive a nice reward. But, I'm not a day trader.
I will exit when I feel the company has reached the
point where it should be trading at and then exit. But
then again, if I really like the company and there is
potential for further growth, I'll leave my investment
in place. Then later exit some and leave a certain
position there, for further gains down the road. By that
time anyway, I hold free shares.

There are exceptions to every rule. So don't hold me
to any absolute.

As you can see, Marc, David and I do have relatively large
positions in MDMI. Think that is coincidental? We sure
seem to be at odds against each other at times don't we!
So, that being the case, we still see value and opportunity
about the same in the long run. JMO

Like I said, Just My Opinion. If anyone disagrees with me,
it's your turn.

re: The numbers (for the float) that are being thrown around seem very low. Between you, me, and KZAP, we have over a million shares of MDMI and we are holding. Am I to believe that the float is below 10 million shares? I would like an ACCURATE number of what the float is.

So would I. The float was 3,500,000 a year ago when the OS were 27,000,000. Now the OS are over 47,000,000. I guessed that the float also went up by 20,000,000 shares but apparently most of those turned out to be restricted shares. And I haven't seen any 144's reporting insider sales - a large portion of the OS are tightly held by Shaw, Varrill, and othere insiders.

I asked Phil Hernandez of La Guardia what the current float is. He said he wouldn't have an exact number 'till next week, but it is not likely to be above 7,000,000 shares.
