f Real doesn't get its stuff together, QT4 running on OSX (or 8.6, for that matter) will obviate the need for Real's software. QuickTime obviates Real already, as far as I'm concerned. All of you guys trashing on REAL need to take a step back. You guys are trying to say QT is the best product in a market segment in which QT cannot even compete. QT simply cannot do RT streaming. It it meaningless to compare the quality of Real's RT stream to click and wait a while stream of QT. It should be obvious that the QT stream will have better quality then the Real because it is 5-10 times as large. It is an Apples to oranges comparison. When QT 4 comes out with live streams then you can make a quality comparison, but Real will still have several advantages over QT including lower bitrate streams, integration with shockwave, and enough marketing agreements with the major players to all but insure that QT streams will never even get a foothold unless it turns out to be a quantum leap better then Real and/or Apple pays through the nose. And don't forget, Apple has no way of making real money off this stuff!I mean, come on, it's got to say something about QuickTime that George Lucas chose it to run his new trailer over the Web. When the teaser(not the trailer) came out it WAS available in Real. You could click a Real link and watch the teaser almost immediately, or click a QT link and watch the teaser in an hour or so. I'm sure Apple had to cut a deal to make the trailer a QT exclusive, and there was probably much more to it(as in green stuff) then just agreeing to host the files. Jon Bird
