I have seen CEO's of little companes with limited resources look like dunderheads and then "hit the big one" and bloom like a freakin flower"!!<ggg> I think alot of perceived incompetence or inefficiencies stem from "starvation, begging, and a general confusion because of a lack of money"!! Once you get a few good meals under your belt, are able to buy that new BMW, and have a few bucks in the bank, its amazing how quickly that can relieve pressure and "clear the mind"!! His perceived direction years ago as Internet liquidators was considered by many, at the time, a waste! So was he ahead of his time, did he see something that others didn't? I think so. Would he have been Ebay, if he had started in the states....we'll never know, personally I think not! Only because he probably started to early,.... he would have never got the backing Ebay did, not because the idea was bad, but because he was another "Canary Wharf"...too early but still a good idea.
