Yes I noticed that in the picts too. Is NOVL the only one using the Gigabit ethernet? Is this the state-of-the-art cable? And if others are not using (assuming they are at a disadvantage, I saw the SCSI cable), if they move to Gigabit ethernet, would they have a chance at outperforming Novell's caching software? I guess, being a scientist, I like to see the variables the same between the competition (hardware part of it), so that I can then understand (determine)who has the advantage or best solution (aka- fasting caching device). Also, does software have to be written a certain way to run on Gigabit versus other older hardware net connections, and hence, other competitors haven't done this yet? Many thanks on your help, QuadK
