Dear Sidney;
Nowhere in the Bible do I remember scripture that says David's throne is in Heaven. However, many verses talking about the Davidic Covenant indicates that Christ will sit on David's throne after His Second Coming when He resumes the Kingdom program that was halted because of the Jew's unbelief in Jesus. We are now in the Age of Grace given to Paul by the Heavenly, glorified Christ.

In this present age, Christ is seated on the throne of the Father in Heaven. Psalm 110:1,2 "The Lord says to my Lord: "Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet."
That obviously is saying that Christ is sitting on His Father's throne. Jesus also said"The Father and I are one. I am in the Father and the Father is in me. If you know me, than you have seen the Father."
