Heh... Not trying to be contrary, but just turn out that way on this thread. Oh well...

I agree that the MS lawyers are wisely trying to muddle the trial issues by throwing in claims that AOL/NSCP/SUNW merger poses some kind of threat to the consumer Windows market. It's just that I don't see Zawinski as being much help in that odd effort. After all, in the 'net pantheon Zawinski honors, AOL is seen as an evil spirit, but Microsoft is seen as the devil incarnate. For each bad thing the lawyers could get him to say about AOL, he'd try to throw in two more bad things about Microsoft. And I don't think the MS lawyers would want to have him chatting with the judge about why he thinks a browser should be separate from the OS.
