The composite comparison is to illustrate the similarities. WWII was started POLITICALLY immediately following WWI. But it was not until the German allied forces stormed into Yugoslavia, that Soviets came to their defense to chase the Germans out. And upon the communist Russian declaration of war, the rest of the countries of the world chose up sides. April, 1941 was when troops began to be deployed throughout Europe.
