It's time for pCEO rumors - Friend of Steve's left Inprise at Quarter end

A year has passed since the Board set aside a option fund for Mr J.

Mr J's well paid "insider" management all (give credit to M Mandich as he skipped Jan Quarter) regularly sell shares for "income" .

It depressed its price , but it created opportunity , so now 5 funds own over 50% (see Eric's site) of AAPL's shares .

It's the American way and it's time . Mr Yokum admires Steve , took his side "somewhat" in the famous ouster , plus he exudes sales maturity.

And selfishly for us as shareholders it will add immediate (steady) value to the shares so those funds don't have to play option games with "insiders" this quarter:

SCOTTS VALLEY, Calif. (AP) - Without notice or explanation, the chief
executive officer and chief financial officer of Inprise Corp. which was Borland International until last year - have quit the company.

The resignations of CEO Delbert Yocam, a well-regarded veteran of Apple Computer Inc. , and financial officer Kathleen Fisher raised concerns among financial analysts about the company, which makes software for businesses. "

Maybe you don't like Mr Yocam but not to worry because you know who is AAPL's Chairman for Life.

Pure speculation but the timing deserves attention.

PS: Inprise is trading below book value - wonder how it would fit with Filemaker ?
