Flop! Failure Bombshells!

It appears my warnings about Flop! reliablity are being confirmed as we speak. It is vital that anyone who is thinking of buying this piece of Iomega trash read the entire linked thread entitled "Big Clik Problems." There are approx 5 replies to this and all of them warn against Flop!

... I have returned now to California, and am trying to move the pictures to my PC. Out of 8 clik! disks (so far), 5 disks appear to have at least partially corrupt data (over 50% failure).

There is another Usenet post about Flop I read where the owner wrote a label on the Flop! disk and ruined the disk. I'm tryin to re-find that link. I will post it when I find it... hold on...

Face it. Flop! is a disastor that is already unfolding with your average less-than-careful consumers. Flop! disks are VERY delicate. Even the Flop! Owner's Manual warns about this. This is a disastor. CompactFlash, on the other hand, is rugged enough to drive a truck over.
