Heads up-- buying opportunity on Southernera Resources T.SUF

Over the past couple of weeks SUF has been in a position to release a great deal of very positive information. In brief the company is currently highly undervalued by the market and the analysts are way behind the news on SUF.

Southernera has a one hundred tonne per hour diamond extraction plant in South Africa totally dedicated to the SUF %40 owned Marsfontein Farm mining project. The plant is currently processing ore from the M1 kimberlite pipe along with diamond rich gravel from the immediate area. This ore is yeilding 3 carats per tonne with an average carat value of at least US$150. The total cost of mining and processing is around US$10 per tonne.

The M1 is part of a Kimberlite Fissure system which extends for many miles across Marsfontein and 100% owned Klipspringer properties. The M1 will be the primary source of ore for the next several years from Marsfontein. Exploration on Marsfontein indicates that there is clear potential for several other blows or pipes similiar to the M1 along the fissure as well as large quantities of diamond rich gravel.

Southernera has recently completed construction, commissioning and testing of an additional 50 tonne per hour processing plant attached to the existing plant. The plant is currently in use testing and processing rich diamoniferous gravels from the Marsfontein property. Within several months the 50 tonne per hour plant will be dedicated to production from the 100% owned Klipspringer fissure system.

Revenue and earnings for Southernera will be greatly increased. If and when the Marsfontein property is exhausted the entire 150 tonne per hour plant will be dedicated to production form 100% owned Klipspringer production. This is not expected to happen soon as additional resources are being identified from Marsfontein. However, the plant can be upgraded as neccessary to handle ore as resourses are identified and brought into production from Klipspringer. There is significant upside potential as much of the property has not been fully explored to date.

Southernera remains active in Angola and reports should be available soon on production and assessment of the Camafucia pipe system. The Camafucia pipe is one of the worlds largest diamondiferous pipes. Testing is curently aimed at determining the most economic sections for production.

Southernera has been very active in Canada's NWT this winter.SUF has a 40% interest in a new pipe discovered this winter by Kennacott at Lac de Gras. CF results are immanent. SUF is testing several previously known pipes in the Yamba Lake area as well as numerous targets identified by mineral trains and IP/magnetic survey and analysis. Reports will be released as information becomes available.

Southernera is currently diamond drilling a kimberlite body identified in Munn Lake. Highly diamoniferous 25 meter diameter kimberlite boulders have been found on the shore of Munn lake. Kimberlite dykes and gold have previously been intersected close to Munn lake. Southernera is also exploring the nearby Margaret Lake to identify kimberlite targets under the lake.

SUF holds an interest in a very large land area in both the north and south diamond fields of Canada's NWT.

SUF's current and projected earnings from Klipspringer and Marsfontein should justify a share price of at least $20.00 per share. New resources are being identified in this area on an ongoing basis. At the current time it appears that no value has been attributed to the prospects in the NWTs.

SUF has about 30 million shares out, great earnings, no debt, money in the bank, many years of profitable reserves, and huge exploration potential. Above all they have one of the best management and exploration teams in the world.

In addition to the projects mentioned above, Southernera has additional claims in prospective areas on 4 continents. More information is available at southernera.com.

If the share price were to remain in the $6.00 Canadian level, I would prdict that SUF could boast a 1999 P/E of about 2 or 3. I do not expect the share price to languish for long at $6.00.
