The price that BII trades at the first day will obviously have a direct connection to what,if any, announcements are made just prior to the listing. This management team and the people in on the deal (Goldman etc.) have a lot on the ball and I would expect a major announcement or two to come out just before a Nasdaq listing.
If BII was on CNBC talking about new audio/video technology that they were introducing for instance...watch out. New alliances?

Bid.com Nasdaq - IPO Musings

MIghty KC,

A dramatic rise in BII's stock price may indeed create or add money to the balance sheet of Bid.com as warrants and options are exercised. The affect of NASDAQ can not be underestimated. Some of the characteristics evident in an IPO will also be exhibited once our stock is officially listed and trading as BIDS, BIDZ, BIDC or other alpha combination.

Best O'Luck,

Tom
