LindyBill, Not me, Michelle. We have to many socialists voting here now! You are right, it could make it really difficult for Republicans. Most Canadians probably think the Democrats are right wing policiticians!!!<g> If we are considered Socialists, then the Europeans would definately be considered Communists. The good thing is that I could walk around in the worst ghetto in Canada and not be afraid for my life. Go into Downtown Montreal or Toronto in middle of the night and feel very safe. I guess there are trade offs one must consider!!!<g> I would gladly pay higher taxes than the US if it means we could maintain a good lifestyle for all.( The only thing me and ToySoldier agree about is the universal healthcare.) As long as you don't hit certain limits, it is acceptable to me. I want to make lots of money but still care for my fellow man. Should not be a dog eat dog world in my opinion. Human beings should be better than that. I guess I am a Socialist and Capitalist all rolled into one. Could start a new movement!!!
