To Morris: Sure, most of their calls have a hidden agenda. No doubt about it. With CPQ not pre-announcing. I think the lows have been seen in good old DELL. However, I believe we will continue to see backing and filling in this issue until we get our first positive report from one of the big PC players (IBM , CPQ, GTW) to include a good forward looking statement. frank...cpq over dell....dell over easy... not to take the side of the analyst, but if you were totally oblivious of reality and very near sighted...cpq looks like an ibm in waiting...i suffered from this malady, but was cured when i "saw" the inability of 5fer to execute swiftly his cpq/dec plan...which i would hope would elevate cpq to a full enterprise company... 5fer prefers to muck about in the retail swamps laden with generic white box alligators who are nibbling at his profits... happy easter, ed a.
