You got that right. Intel still hasn't learned the new retail market. You would have expected them to learn after dropping prices earlier than anyone expected (not to mention greater than anyone expected) and continue to STILL lose retail marketshare.

Even the Great Ones screw up once in a while. But the Great Ones recover faster than and move more furiously after the recovery. Unfortunately for them, Intel hasn't exactly recovered yet. Admittedly, when they do recover, AMD will be in a tough position. But fortunately for AMD, I wouldn't expect that to happen until Intel renames the Celeron AND puts KNI into it. And KNI won't go into the Celeron until the beginning of next year. Go figure.

No.

This is the reason 400 MHz Kmart 62's are selling for $100 and the 450 Mhz Kmart 62's are now down to $154.
