TWICK,

That heavy volume and the price dropping on Friday is a bearish indicator

Let me just say that the market makers and the smart money are very deceiving when it comes to accumulating or distributing a position in a stock. On the surface that heavy volume looks like distribution. However, my gut, and the fact that it did not break some key support tells me the smart guys maybe accumulating here. Take a look at GMAI for a perfect example of what looked like a breakdown in prices only to rebound this week.

Fortunately for us this pattern should have a quick resolution and we should find out this week.

Regards,

SO

re: nsol
with prices bouncing around near support it pays to look closely at the tape. truflette and partner have analyzed thursday's sharp downmove from 106 to about 98. all the block trades (mostly 5000 shares) during that span went off above the ask price while the break below 100 resulted in lots of small 100-share trades - obviously the stops of small day traders were taken out. also note the pop up in the final half hour on increasing volume. similar patterns could be observed during the prior three trading days as well.
the only thing that bothers me a little bit is that we all seem to be so unanimous about the upside potential all of a sudden.
anyway, at this stage it sure looks like accumulation to me.

greetings,
