2 points to correct you on your incorrect statements.
1) Gates does not always win....just when he does, it's big, but they will even tell you they that they throw a lot out there and just want to see some of it stickl
2) they will not win this game....This is the internet game...they have only won one internet space and that is the browser...This was done with the benefit of their operating system, therefor it wasn't a fair battle...ie.justice dept.
They have lost every single other internet battle. I said every one. They don't get it. the internet is about compatability and freedom to choose...Microsoft hasn't learned that game yet, and until they change their business plan they don't want to learn it...they are doing fne with the monopolys they have.
we are in a different climate now....it's microsoft vs. aol/nscp/sunw/orcl/novl/rnwk
what all these comapnies have in common, is that they buid businesses on open platforms...microsoft doesn't. msft was for the 90's
the internet is different and they don't get it.....yet
