Go to the isis site. Dr. Crooke has written a letter to shareholders on the subject. The financial markets are a tough place with as much impulse to destroy as there is to build. Isis is a well managed biotech that is coping with a bad environment. The bottomline is still whether you believe they can bring profitable drugs to the market.

Hi Brian:

Sorry for the long delay I've been on a special assignment.

As far as the Ridgeway deal it adds an option for Isis to bring in some funding and that's about it. In this environment it's most important for Isis to slash the burn rate, prove to doubters that their molecules can be stealthy (not mopped up by the liver [maybe they have proved this I don't know]) and, get some leverage out of that ability to create a lead compound within a week of a request.

Amateur

P.S.: Wouldn't hurt to canvas the new Internet billionairs to see if the would fund antisense.
