I suppose the menu has been fixed for as long as Passover has been observed, and that goes back a few thousand years. I don't recall if the ingredients actually are taken directly from the bible story or whether it's a tradition that parallels it. And along with the meal is a recitation that is always said with the Passover celebration, and it's also ancient. Old enough that it long preceded Christ's lifetime. So recite the words in Aramaic and you'd likely hear some of what was spoken in the Upper Room.
