Speaking of trash, the next door neighbors with the pickup truck in the back yard are working on said truck. You can imagine the noise, they crank and crank and crank and crank the engine, and they get it started, and gun-gun-gun-gun-gun the motor frantically for a while, and it dies, and they start all over again. I wonder if it is some kind of game? They did it all last year until it got cold, and now it's warm again. I have my windows open, the cherries, Japanese magnolias, Bradford pears and forsythia bloomed while we were gone, and I was hoping for a nap. Instead we have Boomer and Buster out there hee-hawing over the carburetor.
