Soup, everyone should buy that 17" studio display monitor, right now.

I bought one a few days ago. (Figures!- but only paid $450, shipping included, so it's not so terrible.)

I also got a 4MB graphics card for $89, and am running my Studio Display and old 1705 monitor side by side.

I can hardly stand to read from the old monitor, the Studio display is so bright and crisp! (well, the real estate is deluxe, even if the old territory is fuzzy and dim.)

I'm running the Studio Display at 1152 pixels, and the 1705 at 1024 pixels- and the new monitor is still far and away easier to read from. I feel like a haze has been lifted!

( If you ever got sore eyes from too much screen work- this monitor is very sweet!)
