Brooks, 38, formerly served as a Managing Principal with JAFCO America Ventures, the U.S. subsidiary of Japan's largest venture capital firm. At JAFCO, Brooks led that firm's telecommunications practice, focusing on investments in telecommunications infrastructure, technology and services, including photonic components and systems, Internet telephony, telecommunications network management software and technology-differentiated telecommunications services.
