I tried a weighted RSI and it seemed to cause sharper extremes.
Since the RSI is the sum of ups divided by the sum of the downs,
the approach that I tried was to multiply each term by its volume
and divide by the total volume. I could post the Metastock function
I used, but it is ugly.

more tests, I tried a weighted moving average where the weight on
each term was the RSI value, nothing worth mentioning, it appeared
similar to the normal mas.
