Harold -

By way of reference, I got in COMS in April 1997 and have been on the $25 to $60 to $23 to $52 to $22 ride many of us have gone through, adding to my position some times wisely, others no. I'm down about 20% or so on COMS but have faith that we'll bounce back and do fine over time - the company has great potential and is woefully undervalued. I certainly hope they're buying back shares right now.

Last fall I agreed generally with your positive sentiments on COMS, eg:

>>> Jon: We both agree that coms is heading upward...magnitude is the big question! I am in coms for the long term...am not a day trader...have accumulated quite abit of this stock....will accumulate more on monday a.m. My objective for 1999 is to make at least $500K...I've made half that much this year...(paper profits)at this point.3com is going to make alot of individuals very wealthy....three years from now individuals will be looking back and saying, "If only.....!" The most difficult problem in investing is to find those particular stocks that show potential and to acquire them before everyone else. Over the years I'v learned that buy & hold works much better for me...I admit that I am not an aggressive investor by being in and out of the mkt as others. HK <<<

And I can understand your current frustration with the stock, and to some extent with management. But this endless ranting seems foolish to me, and rather pointless. If you're a long term investor, add to your position and give the stock time. If you're not (and the channel stuffing fiasco and sparks with Wall Street these past two years should have been warning enough to you the stock is a volatile one), then why don't you just take your loss and move on?

The reason I'm bring this up at all isWe could all use a little more humility, and perhaps we should give people the benefit of the doubt. You've been with the stock (so it appears) less than 6 months, and yet you speak as if Benhamou has been personally stabbing you in the back for years. I still vividly recall reading this post as well:

>>>here is the true HAROLD KIRBY. He needs help as one can deduce from his private message to me.

stanley "schmuck": No DD 214 huh?....Thought so....! Imposter! The only reason you survived , if you were in Korea was because you "RAN"...and you are still RUNNING, "AT THE MOUTH" and full of "yiddish" gutter. Your language speaks for what you are! Sounds like the first word you learned as an infant...most likely what your mother
called you!!!

"HOW ABOUT STICKING TO AFCI POSTINGS AND USE EMAIL TO DISCUSS ALL YOUR OTHER CRAP!" "DO YOU ENJOY BEING SADISTIC AND ATTACKING PEOPLE"

I'll leave you alone "stanley schmuck".....no one gives a damn about you, no matter where you go...that has been the story of your life!

If my father was like you....I would have made sure that there was at least a considerable amount of distance, which would limit any association!! I bet you don't live anywhere near your children...that is if you were able to produce any!<<<

From your own profile, you're quote is "Anger is the wind that blows out the light of reason." Kinda ironic, isn't it?

You can choose who you want to be. Speech is free, but it only carries so far - it may just be time for me to find out if we've got a "tune out" feature around here.
