That wouldn't surprise me.

But, those same vendors aren't planning to deploy any new I/O architecture for another 2 years. Intel is a year ahead, but that doesn't seem to deter them.

The post you referred to was from Allen Benn, who previously stated that you should buy Wind River stock for I2O alone. Historically, he has been overoptimistic about the ramp time for new standards. It take a while, which is why the stock is stalling. Hopefully, the potential of I2O will be realized someday. Maybe the analyst at H&Q who included I2O revenue in her forecast last year will follow the guidance of the company this time around.
