Todays topic (women doctors).........................

I don't intend this to be sexist and it's not since my information is from personal experience.

Why do women doctor's want to go against the accepted norm of the medical profession?

Why do they want you to try a mustard poultice for sciatica instead of the usual narcotic prescription that most male doctor's do not hesitate to provide.

I have ran into this numerous times over many years. Most of the women doctor's I have seen have been fill-ins for my regular doctor when he is on vacation or in an Emergency Clinic after hours and weekends.

I find that they won't even continue the treatment of your regular doctor when they have your med history to view and can plainly see what has worked in the past.

It really gets to be a pisser and I have learned to completely avoid/turn away from any facility when a female, any female, is on duty at the time. Simply because I know she is going to experiment on me instead of fixing the ailment. In the end she ends up complicating matters and I feel worse than when I first seen her.

This has held true for everything from the flu to a pinched nerve in the lower back.

I have even had nurses give their opinion (away from the doctor) about what their doctor has prescribed for me.

Has anyone else noticed this problem or am I alone out here? Don't hold back either.
