It's A Dell, Mrs. Walker, It's A Dell

dell and gate- way have more in common than just their business model for direct-sale PCs. They each employ songs by the Who in recent TV ads.

Dell uses portions of "Magic Bus" (perhaps to prod viewers to sing "I want it, I want it"?), while Gateway uses "Who Are You?" to accompany demographic information.

Advice for Micron if it decides to follow suit: Better skip "Pictures Of Lilly."

edamo,
Hi!!!

RE: wisely and succinctly put.

I know my limits...When the day comes that I think I'm smarter than the market I know my confidence has turned to arrogance...I can only invest in what I believe in...go long...go to sleep....holding the confidence in the management...This is why I choose to buy on the news from DELL ....In particular, Michael caught my attention...reminded me of a former student/athlete/leader who had many of the same characteristics...Like Chris, Michael has that same smile; look of confidence; poise; ability to motivate others...Something I have learned through teaching/coaching...I'll never bet against this determination and confidence..especially when it contains no arrogance...Just some more reasons why I love DELL...
Michael and his management tell me where they are going...I just follow...For over three years this has been the strategy of many...I'm just still cheating off the smarts kids...
:o)

Best, Kemble
