lws, I can't say that I am especially hopeful for your placed confidence in the VLNC board (or any board) as an indicator for what makes a sound investment, speculative or conservative. Of course, I know you know that labels (the "smart" money <grin>) do not make their subject so. Insider ownership is a positive indicator but not an exclusive one. There are many other indicators that rise and fall in relative level of importance based on the circumstances of each company. In the case of VLNC, insider ownership is not enough to hang a hat. You didnt respond to the questions. I suspect I know the answer regarding Wolanchuk's influence on your decision but it would be helpful for others who have large stakes in VLNC to hear your answer.
