Planting and destruction of old covenant Judaism, and the establishment of New Covenant Israel--the Christian Church. [Isa 5:1] Let me sing for my beloved a love song concerning his vineyard: My beloved had a vineyard on a very fertile hill. [Isa 5:2] He digged it and cleared it of stones, and planted it with choice vines; he built a watchtower in the midst of it, and hewed out a wine vat in it; and he looked for it to yield grapes, but it yielded wild grapes. [Isa 5:3] And now, O inhabitants of Jerusalem and men of Judah, judge, I pray you, between me and my vineyard. [Isa 5:4] What more was there to do for my vineyard, that I have not done in it? When I looked for it to yield grapes, why did it yield wild grapes? [Isa 5:5] And now I will tell you what I will do to my vineyard. I will remove its hedge, and it shall be devoured; I will break down its wall, and it shall be trampled down. [Isa 5:6] I will make it a waste; it shall not be pruned or hoed, and briers and thorns shall grow up; I will also command the clouds that they rain no rain upon it. [Isa 5:7] For the vineyard of the LORD of hosts is the house of Israel, and the men of Judah are his pleasant planting; and he looked for justice, but behold, bloodshed; for righteousness, but behold, a cry! God raises Jesus (ensign) to establishs his New Covenant Israel from the remnant of old covenant Israel combined with all those who accept Christ from all the nations of the world. At the same time, he takes the Kingdom away from old covenant Judaism and gives it to the Christian Church--the Body of Christ by totally destroying the the Temple and the old covenant Judaism in 70 A.D. [Isa 5:25]: Therefore is the anger of the LORD kindled against his people, and he hath stretched forth his hand against them, and hath smitten them: and the hills did tremble, and their carcases were torn in the midst of the streets. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still. [5:26}: And he will lift up an ensign( Jesus) to the nations from far, and will hiss unto them from the end of the earth: and, behold, they shall come with speed swiftly: -----------------------------
