Amigo Sergio , Westrock is Canada's largest board manufacturer, it is now part of the BPB group , head office is in the UK .

westroc.com Canada

bpb.com UK

The price is BP 2.63 = $4 us +/-

I don't know if they specifically export to the US or not , if they do this could very well be a play on the shortage.
Does anyone have any sites to graph UK stock?

MIMF may be one to explore for those who are interested in pennies. LPX may deserve another look. GP has been a 5 point roller candidate, but I haven't played it.

LAF is being added to my watch list. It would be nice, however, to see some insider BUYING.

Sergio,

Interesting plays on sheet rock.

As you know, the walls of houses in CA are covered in enviromentily sound coverings only, as opposed to those "homes" in Kansas that are covered in 1/8" thick pressed cardboard. LOL That is why Mike H. can here himself think, the walls do not absorb any of his brain waves.

Sergio,
<Any interesting plays on this theme besides LAF?>

RGC maybe one to watch. They recently constructed a second production line for gypsum wallboard. They did have there problems getting it done and it took longer then expected and will not have a good earnings report next quarter March 99 because of it but have already issued warning.http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/990310/ka_republi_1.html

They did begin simultaneous operation of both production lines end of January and have stated that gypsum wallboard is in very high demand.
