I think that the Croatian radio also noted
that a 117A "Nighthawk" had to make an emergency
landing in Zagreb. Probably it had some kind
of mechanical problem. They are not the most
reliable aircraft around. One of them blew a
tail section off at an air show about 1 year
ago and crashed into some woods. There have
also been about 3 other 117A crashes in the
past 15 years.

I've never been to Romania, do they use English or Cyrillic characters in there writing? This wasn't the instructions, more like tail markings.
