Steve - thanks for the info on Voisey Bay <<These laterite mines have not proven to be a success yet>> Are you sure about this? - my understanding is that there is a major Australian company in full production and the recovery rate with the leaching is in the high 90 percent level. I'll dig a little more to give you details - but this is what I've recently heard. Also that this technology has been at least partly responsible for the depressed NI price. There are deposits being uncovered with millions of tons of NI ore - and I think Inco and Falconbridge are chasing down these types of deposit. Anything else that can be added on this topic is relevant to any NI situation including this. dd
