Bonnie,

There was a cover article on how Gates invests in one of the financial magazines recently. I believe it was Fortune. I scanned it quickly. Gates has his own fund and his own private fund manager. I can't remember exact figures, but I think the manager runs something like 9 billion for Gates. They even mentioned that Gates has some money in Mr. Fleckenstein's fund.... One factoid that stood out in my mind is that the fund manager said one of his daily duties is to sell 40,000 shares of Microsoft *EVERY DAY* for Bill as part of his diversification program. Funny, the more he diversifies, the more shares he seems to acquire as Microsoft splits faster than he can ever sell all those shares <ggg>.
