49erSteve I have the DSS system which is more that likely what RocketMan bought. I still have access to my local broadcasts. There is an Omni-directional antenna that can be placed out of sight as in your attic or the top of a closet which I bought in order to see the local broadcasts. The cost is about 2/3's of a share of AOL stock.<g>

Steve, the San Francisco TCI folks are made to look good compared to the group running the show in Seattle. Rates are horrendous, service is poor, I lost the last 4 mins of the final game between Duke and UConn! Thank God AOL doesn't perform that way. JB

Here is what I'm doing that you might want to think about.I'm subscribing to Cox cable and getting only basic.Just local stations and also putting up Dish Network for the rest.By being a Cox cable customer (6.75 a month) I get a 10.00 price reduction per month on ATHM.
