<WTS, i've seen this with semis, semi eqpt, disk drive, ISPs...<

Bob, as you know I couldn't agree more. As the old saying goes the time to buy is when the blood is running in the streets. At the same time, being selective is imperative. ROSS is an interesting turnaround play, though, its management is suspect. One of the previous poster's called it a "quality" company, that's a little far fetched to me. I've known ROSS for many years and been in and out of the company's stock many times. "Quality" is not a word I would ever associate with ROSS(as a company, the products are OK)...

I think that both PSQL and INFM are better plays because they are better run co's. ROSS's potential is interesting because of the large legacy base they have. Downside is, this same management team has screwed up big time before.

Then there's basket cases like IMIC, which is and SCM company and is trading well below its current cash/share. Trouble with that one is that its losing money pretty badly and figuring out whether they can turn it around or find a white knight isn't obvious.

BTW, if you are interested in consulting/services co's you might want to look at REGI. It is also very beaten up, been disappointing...but, it has had some big time insider buying since it tanked(by the CEO if I recall correctly). They are a very substantial company and may be headed to a second half turnaround.
