In Defense of Ryanscott, Though...

I've spent the past few hours rooting around through various interesting references to Sarnoff. My gosh, what a fascinating and generative company! Sarnoff and Thomson, of course, have a certain shared legacy in that David Sarnoff founded RCA and RCA is the biggest name in the Thomson stable. The WAVX/Sarnoff connection is now far more interesting to me than it was before the Ryanscott fandango. A real plus, this relationship. Sarnoff is a leader and innovator in so many different areas. Plus, one of their spin-offs is plugged into DIVA, a really interesting company, as well.

(Also noted a dead link to an ad about HDTV at Sarnoff's site. The ad was called "hear no, see no evil". Don't know why I mention this other than an RB poster put those words in one of their posts.)

So, Ryanscott, whoever you are, thanks for sending me down some very interesting pathways... even if you were just pulling my leg.

Best Regards,

c m
